Birthday On The Barbie.

Moving On. Posting on something more recent. Well not that recent but two weeks ago was my 18th birthday... Yeah I'm so old. I'm like the oldest yet the shortest in my group. Pretty depressing really. Anyways so three years ago I wanted to have dinner up at Mt Cootha but then I thought people might have trouble getting there and home so I decided to have a barbecue in my backyard. So made an event on Facebook and started adding people in my group then started to have second thoughts about adding more people like from my primary too because of my aunty. And yep she convinced me. I'm glad I did too. Anyways bought some party stuff and my mum made a chocolate sponge cake, while I "attempted" to decorate it cause you know when will we ever get a chance to decorate your own cake... well that's if you got the skills but I don't. So I'm guessing you have some horrific image of the cake in your mind! Great... 

The party started at 2.30pm so I continued decorating my cake and my cousins came over to help set things up. My high school friends started arriving and not everything was ready so I asked them to help...Haha. My dad and uncle got the bbq ready to cook food so we just sat by the pool cause it was really hot at that time. Some people wanted to swim but then I wanted to swim at night cause that is so cool especially if you got friends over. We ate and talked for a long time but then my primary friends had to leave and they wanted me to open their joint present. It was an awesome present! They got me a white Fujifilm Polaroid camera and for someone who loves cameras, I'd say it was one of the best present I ever got. So I thank you so so much! 

After that I went out to the pool and Dung pushed me into the pool. Everyone was just looking and I'm like...haha. After a while, they thought I looked lonely so they started joining me. I kind of regretted swimming at night though because it was freezing. I mean it's still summer so it shouldn't be that cold! You know?? Well the weather so screwed up in Brisbane/Australia. We went inside to get changed and I opened presents. Awesome presents :) Thanks everyone.

Then we ate cake and took photos and then sat around... cause I'm a terrible host until it was home time at 10pm :) Thanks everyone I had a great and memorable day!
