A Garden of Photos.

A Tree&Flowers Oh hi there, I decided to blog again. Need to stay dedicated to the blog since I'm doing photography next year. YAY! I'm hoping it's going to be awesome. Anyways, let's continue where I left off. So today's post is on one of my latest birthday gift, to Yuko. She gets emotional easily so when she received this, she couldn't calm down. Haha. That made me really happy. To see that my present had made someone so happy is something I will always remember.

This is the end product. I bought a box from Typo before I started making this. When I was thinking of what to create, I kind of based the idea around the box (like the dimensions and everything). So let's start with the structure. I had a piece of wood and I just glued polaroid photos from Typo so it's like a collage. For the top piece, I painted it with chalkboard paint because I was going to write my message on the top.

For the hanging photos, it's just a block of wood and then I glued the photo on. Like always, I bought a letter block from Typo, the reading lamp and the tree are from Card & Caboodle. As you can see, I made the planter box from wood and wrapped twine around it. The little glass bottles with glitter are from Card & Caboodle, and so I just emptied a bit of glitter out and placed flowers in them.

This is the top with the message, written with chalk. This was actually my first attempt so it looks messy cause I didn't sharpen the chalk. For the finishing touches, I tied a piece of twines so that she can lift it out of the box more easily. So that's it for this present. It's pretty simple compared to the other gifts I've made, but it's as impressive.

The purpose of the lamp. So the flowers can shine :)

My second attempt.
