+Shelf Hello all. I finally decided to post about my new camera and as a bonus, the photos shows an upgrade of my shelf :) So I bought a Nikon D5200 + AF-S 18-55mm VR + AF 70-300mm G. I had a tough decision as I was juggling between that camera and the Canon 650D. It was my first DSLR so I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews. I found that the Nikon is good in low lightings, which I was really happy to have discovered as I always get frustrated with low lightings. Compared to the Canon 650D, the Nikon takes good videos too. I will need that since I'm doing a little filming. Oh yeah, the Nikon was cheaper than the Canon too :)
To be honest, it did take me a few days to really get the hang of the menu, settings and such but I'm improving as I've been taking a lot of photos recently (getting ready for the 'new thing'). Still kind of suck with low lighting so hopefully I 'll be able take reasonably good photos before uni starts.
