This Is How I Remember You.

Building Blocks of Memories This post is going to be about the present I made for Nico. Haha I was pretty paranoid about bring it with me to Melbourne. Kept on getting thoughts that they're going to tell me to get rid of it. Anyways, I was pretty happy with the result. It wasn't exactly how I planned it but oh wells :)

Typo:: chalkboard, big letter block, scrapbook paper. Lincraft:: metal frames, small letter block, metal name tag thingy. The Reject Shop:: blocks. Discount Store (Calamvale):: wooden window. Asian store (Sunnybank Plaza):: flowers. Lovisa:: bracelet and earrings.
So this is what the end product looks like. Usually when it's Nico and Natasha's birthday, I tend to give them the same presents cause it's more convenient since their birthday is only a few days apart. Um but since I made the presents pretty late, Diem's 18th was also around the same time so her present had the same design... well idea, which you will see in a later post.

So I started off painting the wooden blocks brown and smudging it with black paint. I used a combination of cubes and flat rectangular blocks to give it a more...appealing look :)
For the 'N', I covered it with scrapbook paper and then wrote my message. The little flower box is made by sawing some wood and then wrapping it with twine. Then I stuck some flowers and the earrings.

The rest is pretty self-explanatory so I wont go into detail about the top section.
