Away to North Vietnam || #2

UPDATE. Sorry, I'm a bit slow at updating due to the flooding and cyclone that happened a few days ago. As a result of that the power got cut so I couldn't post anything. So anyways back to my updates about Vietnam.

Wednesday || 26.12.12

- Ate breakfast

- Had another breakfast with our grandma's siblings right after

- Makes me happy to see them all so close and happy :)

- Had a chat with our cousin Tien

- He was depressed when we told him we didn't remember him... haha

- Well after that we didn't do much that day

- Around 1pm we went to Hon Dau Resort

- The place was empty because it was during winter and they were fixing the area

- Something that disappointed me was that everywhere we went was by taxi | Was really looking forward to going on the motor bike again

- The resort had like a zoo-like area and a water park area

- It was a nice walk up to the zoo

- Saw bears, monkeys, 9-toed chicken, peacocks and birds

- After that we went to my aunty's house | Because we entered from the front, I didn't recognise the house but it was my grandparent's old house!

- Ahh how nostalgic :)

- Played cards but whoever lost and still holds a 2 in their hand had to kneel :D

- Went for a walk to pick Thao up from school

- The school system in Vietnam is crazy

- They have like exams during Christmas and they don't get holidays very often | They even have school at night...

- After dinner we went to a cafe and got a drink

- I got a lemon sorbet drink | Tasted weird at first but then it was good

- Played 13 (card game) with Tien, mummy and my sister

- Learnt some stuff from Tien and mummy | Like when 2 people are battling (the other 2 couldn't go) then no one can interfere the battle until 1 of the battler can't go

- I was confused by that | Never played like that before

- It was a fun night | A night to know our cousin a bit better :)
