Away to North Vietnam || #1

HELLO Since I didn't blog about my trip to Vietnam during my stay over there, I will just do dot points for each day and then post a video of photos from the trip.

Monday | | 24.12.12

- Went to church for a Christmas Eve Mass at around 5pm

- Got home and waited for my uncle to pick us up to go the airport

- Our flight was at 11.45 pm but had to get there 2 hours earlier to check-in

- Got to the airport at 9 pm and the line was so long

- Waited for our flight and ate yummy sandwich

- We were on the Singapore Airlines and when the plane took off, I had this massive headache

- Couldn't enjoy the plane food because of the headache and the seats were so uncomfy

- The flight was 8 hours to Singapore

Tuesday || 25.12.12

- We arrived at Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 3ish in the morning || CHRISTMAS DAY

- I've got to say, the terminals were friggen amazing. LOVED IT!

- Waited for 4 hours at the airport | It was an opportunity to take photos :)

- Took the skytrain to Terminal 2

- My dad bought cigarettes and wine | Me and my sister bought perfume - Juicy Couture

- And we got free Angry Bird plushies if we spent over a certain amount

- After walking around the terminal we finally found our gate so me and my sister went looking around

- Again I got a headache on the plane | Sucks to have motion sickness

- I managed to eat the bread with butter | YUM | I even ate my sister's portion :)

- After 2 hours on the plane, we finally arrived in Hanoi | It sure was cold in the airport

- We got our luggages and when we walking towards the door, I saw someone waving but I didn't recognise him

- It was our uncle who was with his daughter | My sister remembered him but I couldn't | SAD!

- Grandma from my mum's side arrived with my mum's uncle and our cousin 

- It was funny because when we saw our cousin, me and my sister was like "who is that?" | Awkward | He remembered us though... Haha

- I only remember my aunty who played a lot with us when we came to Vietnam for the first time, which was 10 years ago

- We waited for the taxi to come and the trip from the airport to home was around 3 hours | Another tiring trip

- When we arrived at the house at 5pm, I was like 'what? The house looks different.' I was seriously confused then I realised my uncle from Australia bought the house for our grandparents

- We greeted everyone | Lots of new faces
- The day ended with sleeping on a comfy but squeaky bed
- SLEEP :)
