MISSJACKIE. So here's another eighteenth birthday post. This time it's Jackie's 18th. The party was held down at Southport at the Club Room of Rivage Royale. It was a day party where everyone dresses up as a Disney character... so despite what everyone thinks is a 'good' eighteenth party, I actually liked this party and would like to see more of it. It was a break from all the dinners and the night parties where everyone just focuses on drinking and more drinking because they're finally legal here. Anyways...since the party was held down at Southport, the only way I could get there was by train and then bus. The total trip was about 1hr and 30mins but it didn't actually felt that long because Emily, Yvette and Viv also came along. Once we finally got in (had some trouble finding our way and then we couldn't figure out how to get in...haha) , we had a little tour of the place. A very nice building. The interior design was very antique, though I prefer gawking at modern designs haha :) Always loved modern interior design.
Since we took public transport, it was obvious we weren't wearing our costume so the five of us, including Jackie who haven't finished getting ready because we were too early. Jackie dressed up as Snow White, Yvette and Viv were Minnie Mouse (turned out they weren't the only ones...being boring haha) and from Alice in Wonderland, Emily dressed as the rabbit and I was the ace of clubs...who helped paint the roses red :) When we finally finished, more people arrived. I don't know what we were doing but pretty much just meeting, greeting and making new friends. We did a lot of taking photos, eating and we also did Disney quizzes and guessing the soundtracks. Jackie's birthday 'cake' was actually made with lots of cupcakes and macaroons. I guess it was easier and cleaner that way :) I loveee the macaroons. Just love them. Sadly I only had like 2 macaroons, that I had to stuffed in my mouth because Viv and I had to leave.
